ARTIST PROFILE - Tim Miller As a painter I am motivated by light, colour and the sensation of seeing, this has led me to research colour perception at scotopic, mesopic and photopic levels The landscape is my main subject with some still life and figure painting. As well as focussing on the immediate sensation of seeing and technical integrity an historical and geological knowledge of the landscape is also of importance to me. Born in Wellington, NSW, Tim has studied independently for the past 40 years. He has taught at TAFE colleges, Universities and The Julian Ashton Art School. He has work held in public collections including The National Museum of Australia and Parliament House Canberra. rockleystudio.au
