ARTISTS: pretty big news for Idy--I dont know if youve been there yet, but theres a new art supply store in Idyllwild (Jack Farleys Art Supplies, 55750 S. Circle Drive--right across the road from St Hughs Church, just as youre beginning the climb into Fern Valley). This is like a city-size art store, man...its really stocked, in a beautiful store (used to be 2 Babes in the Woods, which I never saw open). Its almost shocking to me, the extensive inventory. A room for drawing supplies, another vast room for painters. I met the woman who runs it, Katie, who is most friendly and who just recently moved up here.
