Walker Follows Begich’s Lead Again Refuses to Tell Alaskans Who He Supports in Senate Race October 10, 2014, Anchorage, Alaska – Taking a page out of Mark Begich’s playbook, Bill Walker again refused to tell Alaskans who he supports in the important U.S. Senate race. Walker made the comments in an interview on KFQD’s “Bernadette and Berkowitz” radio show this morning. “Just as Mark Begich refused to tell Alaskans where he stood on SB 21 and Ballot Measure One, Bill Walker is now following his lead by not saying who he supports in the U.S. Senate race,” Parnell-Sullivan 2014 Campaign Manager Tom Wright said. “Mark Begich and his brother, Tom Begich, had a hand in the formation of this so-called ‘unity’ ticket, but now that it’s politically inconvenient, Bill Walker refuses to return the favor and endorse Begich. No matter how much Walker tries to run from it, he is the Democrat-endorsed candidate for governor. “Just look at the Alaska Democratic Party’s website and you’ll see Obama’s Team Alaska: Bill Walker and Mark Begich,” Wright added. Will you return the favor?” Bill Walker: “I’m making no endorsements in the Senate race.” Bernadette Wilson: “Do you think Mark’s done a good job?
