AS ABOVE, SO BELOW... These four words are a fundamental truth, which must be grasped if we are to understand astrology. Here on earth, our daily lives are a mirror image of the sky above. There is a conversation going on between us and the heavens. When we understand the sky, we are really just getting to know ourselves as humanity, as history, as communities and as individutals. The more we observe, and think about it, the more we see that this is true. This principle operates at every possible level - in physical realities, in relationships - and also in emotional, social, politcal, economic and spiritual ways. We each live under two skies: ~The one that was above on the day we were born ~The sky that is above us now Here is an accidental picture of the August 2014 super moon that reveals this truth in a direct and obvious way. My camera wasnt working, and - wanting to capture the magic of the moment - I took a picture with my inadequate cell phone camera. A street light becomes a reflection of the rising moon.
