ASH WEDNESDAY!!! Great Day Today Took subway from Fuzhong MRT Station, exited at Xinpu MRT Station. Out into XInpu and had SUBWAY sandwich. Back on MRT to Zhongxiao Dunhua MRT Station. Exited and went to Acupuncture and Massage Appointment. Back to Zhongxiao Dunhua MRT Station and waited for Penny Zhe, 2006 graduate of PSU. Visited with Penny about trip to Hong Kong and ShenZhen later in March. Went to IS Cafe, had coffee and discussed the logistics of the trip. Back on MRT to Zhongxiao Zinheng MRT Station, transferred to go to Dongmen Station. Exited on the wrong exit. Found Exit 3 and found what we were looking for, more on that later. Walked to 7-Eleven, had small sandwich and set on a bench outside 7-Eleven surrounded by motor bikes and motor scooters. Walked back to the place we were looking for and attended a special English mass for Ash Wednesday at the Apostolic Nunciature (Vatican Embassy). Wonderful mass, got a book authored by the presiding priest. Walked back to Dongmen MRT Station to the Taipei Main MRT Station. Transferred to MRT headed for Banqiao MRT Station. Arrived, took a taxi to the campus of National Taiwan University of Arts and safely home on the campus of NTUA. What a great day!! Next week we pick the visa to travel to ShenZhen, China. And on Friday, March 7 I have 5 classes. Just wanted you to know.
