ASK THE JESUS IF YOU ARE ABRAHAM’S SEED Not as if the word of God has taken none effect; For they are not all Israel, who were of Israel: Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall your seed be called. That is, those who were the children of the flesh, these were not the children of God: but the children of the promise were counted for the seed. (Romans 9:6-8) The reason why the Rich man in hell fire, went to hell even though he had Abraham as his father (Luke 16:24-25), but another rich man called Zacchaeus received salvation by having Abraham as his father (Luke 19:9-10), is because The Son of God was the one who declared Zacchaeus to be the Son of Abraham, not any other man. 1. The first rich man called himself a son of Abraham or Abraham called him my son (Luke 16:24-25): Abraham calling a man son, does not mean he is counted as son by God; just as Abraham counted Ishmael as son before God, but God did not recognize Ishmael but rather chose Isaac (Genesis 17:18-21). 2. The second rich man was called the son of Abraham by Jesus Christ himself, after he received Jesus into his home: Therefore, salvation came to his home, because Jesus confessed or declared him a son of Abraham (Luke 19:24-25). Stop taking yourselves to be children of Abraham, when the Son of God has not declared you the children of Abraham: for God alone has the right and the power to make any one truly the son of Abraham, including to makes stones on the ground children of Abraham, if he so please (Luke 3:8).
