ASKING FOR HE LIFE OF YOUR ENEMY God gave Solomon long life, wealth and wisdom because he ... nor hast asked the life of thine enemies... 1 Kings 3:11 Maybe that’s why you have not been experiencing God’s blessings in your life because each time you pray, you only asks that your enemies would die. You pray against those in your villages, offices, homes etc., you ask that your boss dies or lose his job, you pray against people and families and you even insist that all witches to die as if you are not one of them. Solomon asked God for what he wants in life, and never asked that all his enemies die though he was surrounded with many enemy nations. When he did that the bible records that God gave him peace and he never had cause to fight any enemy because none rose against him. The reason your life is filled with enemies is because you see enemies in everything that you do that didnt work out perfectly. Praying always against enemies brings more enemies and hinders the full blessings of God. Ask God for what you want in life and forget about enemies, if you concentrate on God and your needs God would concentrate on you and fulfill your needs but if you concentrate on killing the enemies, you too would soon die because you are someone else’s enemy. Christ said ‘But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you’ Mt 5:44 We ought to pray for our enemies and not against them, not for their deaths or hurts. We should pray God’s blessings into their lives and not rain curses on them. When we pray for the blessings of our enemies, God fills us with many blessings. Never ask for the lives or hurt of your enemies, always remember that God always brings to us what we ask Him to give to others (enemies inclusive) God bless you.
