ASSISTANT STORE / GROCERY MANAGER - BARGO iga.au Khans Supa IGA Group was established in 1981 and currently operates multiple Supa IGA Supermarkets with more than 700 friendly staff located throughout NSW. This position will be based at our brand new Bargo Supa IGA store. We believe in providing the best service to our customers and are seeking to employ an Assistant Store/Grocery Manager, with amazing people skills and operationally minded. Reporting to the Store Manager, the focus of this role is in business development, store presentation, stock management, administration, team member coaching and training and most importantly customer service. To be considered for this role, applicants need to be able to meet the following job requirements: Previous supermarket operational management experience A passion for customer service and achieving sales Experience in managing budgets and maximising profits in a sales environment Experience in developing staff and motivating teams Demonstrated ability in stock management and merchandising, therefore you must be physically capable of undertaking substantial lifting and being on your feet for long periods of time Ability to prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met. Problem solving ability Ability to build the business, minimising loss and developing your team Attention to detail Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and change oriented environment Effective written and verbal communication skills Awareness of OH&S requirements to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff and contractors Be available to work across Store Trading hours, including weeknights and weekends.
