Jupiter is known as the Great Benefic. It represents expansion into the larger community and world, and the benefits that come to us through interaction with a supportive community. Jupiter is in Gemini, the sign of rational thought, information, and communication. Therefore, what we can look for this week is connections to a larger world of new opportunities. This forecast period concludes with the Summer Solstice in the northern hemisphere, on Thursday, June 20th. This is the start of Summer and the longest period of daylight in the year. The Sun is observed to stand still from its movement up into the sky as its arch reaches its highest point. This is a time for us to pause, too, and celebrate. The busy Spring gives way to the hot Summer. The crops will grow and the fruit will ripen all on their own, now.
