ASUP says Presidential intervention may end strike in two weeks President of Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, ASUP, Chibuzor Asomugha has claimed that COEASU and ASUP have granted the government further compromise to end the ongoing strike. In an interview in Awka, Asomugha said that ASUP hopes that in the coming week, it will meet again with the Supervising Minister of Education to conclude the processes to call off the strike. He said that the Education Minister has taken the new position to the President during the Presidential meeting on the strike actions and immediate result is expected that will lead to the end of the strike.
