ASUU STRIKE The Academicians want salary for 5 months without working right? Actually I do not have a problem with dat but the students suffering it. Now will diz same academicians offer results n certificates to students for the 5 months which they didnt study for? I used to blame the FG but I now see the selfishness on the part of my teachers. Let us objectively look into diz issue. After the 13hrs meeting with the Federal Executive, Assu came to a concensus to be paid 3trllion in 5yrs and promised to get back to dia members. On returning, I expected two things; 1, to accept and return back to classroom for the sake of the Nigerian students. 2, reject the new agreement after delibration with members and not coming up with another minor request again at the expense of the Nigerian Students. Remember, 5 months has gone, we are approaching the 6th month. This is equal to 1 semester + 2weeks break + 2weeks into a new semester. In lieu of this, I see ASUU as Academicians turned selfish Politicians. Coz Politicians will embezzle funds without thinking of the Nigerian marses while ASUU seek funds which will also be embezzled without thinking of the Nigerian students
