AT LAST......Peace......Today I received the phone call that soothed this savage beast....from a very nice, very apologetic, very genuine and very polite Jerry Golub...CEO of Price Chopper Supermarkets. I told him my story, he listened intently and responded when I was finished in a gentlemanly and professional manner. He truly made me feel better about what happened, and we had a lovely chat! Between Jerry and his social Media director Heidi Reale, the debacle has come to an end....I would like to thank them both for their kindness and attention to this matter that had become blown way out of proportion.....I appreciate the time that they took to afford me a chance to air my grievances and come to a resolution. It showed me that I am NOT just a number or a Dollar sign and I was just so impressed by the way they handled the situation. I would also like to apologize to and thank my hometown Amsterdam Price Chopper Store. I did not ever once consider slighting any of my friends who are part of the organization, or blame them for what started out as a comment on facebook that snowballed. I will end by saying a heartfelt thank you once again to Jerry Golub and Heidi Reale...I will be back.....and I hope to see Peggy Szyjkowski rocking her Saratoga themed Racetrack hat this week! Yes Virginia.....there IS a Santa Claus!!
