AT&T Wants to Install a Faux Tree Tower in Stonebridge AT&T - TopicsExpress

AT&T Wants to Install a Faux Tree Tower in Stonebridge AT&T started a permit process to install a faux Eucalyptus tree cellar antenna tower in Stonebridge Estates at the water tank location above East Bluff Cove. Due to community opposition, the city and AT&T are looking at alternative locations. One alternative location is south of Deprise Cove and west of Almond Orchard Lane near a SDG&E tower. The City of San Diegos Planning Commission heard arguments on May 29th and agreed to continue the item until June 19th. In the meantime, both the Miramar Ranch North Planning Committee and Scripps Ranch Planning Group will have public hearings about whether the alternative location is feasible. The two planning groups are city advisory citizen groups that make recommendations to the city on land use issues such as wireless facilities. Miramar Ranch North Planning Committee meets June 3rd at 7 pm at the Scripps Ranch Civic Associations Community Center (11885 Cypress Canyon Rd). Scripps Ranch Planning Group meets June 5th at 7 pm at the Scripps Ranch Librarys Community Room (10301 Scripps Lake Drive). Both meetings are open to the public and a recommendation to the city will be discussed and voted on. If you have an opinion or know someone who lives on Deprise Cove or Almond Orchard Lane, please forward this email to them! For questions or concerns, please email the Scripps Ranch Civic Association President Bob Ilko at [email protected]
