AT THE FEET OF THE RABBI DAILY DEVOTIONAL 1ST SEPTEMBER 2014 SEPTEMBER: OUR MONTH OF SHEKINAH - 1 Glory to God in the Highest, for His grace that have brought us into the 9th month of the 14th year in this new millennium. Indeed, August has moved into eternity past and we are still alive and counting days; this is grace and grace alone. Truly, many rich and poor, known and unknown, good and bad could not make it through August but the infinity mercies of Jehovah, the One the Yorubas from Nigeria calls ARUGBO OJO meaning the Ancient of Days have kept us alive through it all. Indeed, if you are still alive, there is still hope for you. The Lord spoke to me few days back and began to show me the month of September in a vision and all the resources available in the new month and how to get them. This month is our month of SHEKINAH. Shekinah is a Hebrew word that means the abiding and overflowing glory of God. Whenever the presence of God abides in a place long enough, there is an overflow of that presence in the form of a physical manifestation called the glory of God. This glory is so powerful because it manifests the very abilities of God! Exodus 13:20-22 “20 After leaving Succothg they camped at Etham on the edge of the desert.h 21 By day the LORD went aheadi of them in a pillar of cloudj to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night. 22 Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night leftk its place in front of the people”. What a blessing they enjoyed! In that lonely desert, the SHEKINAH of God was released to perpetually dwell with them and what was the result? Comfort in the day and night! In this month of September, comfort is going to be as common as oxygen to every user of this devotional. Because of the SHEKINAH of God that has been released over our lives, we will see the heat from afar but in our camp, SHEKINAH will be speaking for us. In Exodus 33:1, Moses made a record breaking request. You need to read this and understand what he asked for! “Then Moses said, Now show me your glory. I believe there is something Moses knew that we need to learn from. What an audacity! I repeat, there has to be something Moses knew about the SHEKINAH that we need to learn from. No wonder he was a man that talked face to face like a friend with God and wrote the book of Genesis, an event that happened long before he was born. There is something that happens whenever you come in contact with the SHEKINAH. When Saul entered the midst of SHEKINAH, he began to prophesy (1Sam 10:5-6). No doubt, this month shall be a month of mouth watering testimonies and record breaking encounters with divinity. I am led by the Holyspirit to prophesy to 10 users of this devotional that your season of shame just ended. Close with this scripture, “How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will DISTINGUISH me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth? Exodus 33:16. Truly, SHEKINAH distinguishes a man from others. I prophesy over your life that in this month of September, you will be distinguished from others. You will sing irrespective of the economic condition. You will dance irrespective of the medical reports. SHEKINAH is speaking for you.
