AT THE FEET OF THE RABBI DAILY DEVOTIONAL 2ND SEPTEMBER 2014 SEPTEMBER: OUR MONTH OF SHEKINAH - 2 When a cup is full of water, it begins to overflow and pour on the surfaces around the cup. This picture speaks of the nature of SHEKINAH. When the glory of God overflows, it does not just affect on the vessel but it also has effects on the circumstances around such favoured one. Be reminded of yesterday scriptural emphasis when we saw how SHEKINAH brought comfort to the Israelites as a pillar of cloud by day and fire by night to bring covering and warmth respectively; we will now look at what same SHEKINAH did to the enemies around them. “And it came to pass, that in the morning watch, the Lord looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and the cloud, and troubled the host of Egytians. And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily; so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians” Exodus 14:24-25. Halleluyah! You don’t come after a man under the SHEKINAH or you incur the power in the overflow. Truly, it is just like fire, it makes gold purer when it comes in contact with but when it touches wood, it turns it into ashes. The SHEKINAH is not just for covering, it is also an offensive weapon. The Egyptians were rooted out because the SHEKINAH was over the Israelites. In this month of September, it is a risk for anyone to make you an enemy. You are a no near zone because power is on your side. Truly, my little knowledge of government taught me that some persons have state immunity and must not be touched or face the wrath of the state. We are SHEKINAH immuned! The glory of God will so fill our lives this month that there will be no more space for the Egyptians to pursue or even retreat. It will be a month where wicked spirits and adversaries will be judged for our freedom in Jesus name. I decree your escape from the hands of every Egyptians of your destiny today in Jesus name. In the new covenant, we don’t carry the SHEKINAH around in form of a cloud like in our opening scripture but we radiate the SHEKINAH from our regenerated spirits. Since the SHEKINAH is the glory of God manifested, the SHEKINAH of God can now dwell with us and never leave in the person of Christ, who is the fullness of the SHEKINAH! “For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily” Col 2:9. What this means is that, if we are saved, we are already a career of SHEKINAH and now our duty is to magnify this SHEKINAH over every other things in our lives so it overflows every area of our lives. This speaks about exalting Christ. You can have Christ as your Saviour from sin in you but not make Him the Lord of your life by yielding to His Spirit. The more we yield ourselves to the Holyspirit, the more the SHEKINAH manifests in our lives. In this month of September, we must begin to cry to God to empty us of our fleshy desires and receive grace to walk in the Spirit. When you walk in the Spirit, you walk in SHEKINAH. Here is the goodnews, God’s grace is above all our weaknesses. I decree fresh grace into the life of 20 users of this devotional; you will live stronger this month in Jesus name. Now the enemies are to be judged, our victory is guaranteed and our call therefore is to walk with the Spirit. This is a complete gospel. Shalom! Prayer: My Father, I receive fresh grace today and through this month to walk in the Spirit and yield to your leading in Jesus name. I receive fresh grace again in Jesus name.
