AT breakfast recently, saw a beautiful young woman join a man talking on cell phone, he nodded to her but kept talking for over 30 minutes. Its not unusual to see people supposedly togrther but all texting or talking on phones. Communication is obviously in trouble. Effective comunication is difficult enough but it appears to be a dieing skill now. What you say after you say hello is an important step but no one seems to get it anymore. I see long tables of diners but this is another barrier. If I was in that business, Id have round tables to facilitate communication. Probably call it THE ROUND TABLE. OK thats my peeve for the day.
