ATE&M Awards 2014 – recognising industry excellence The 2014 Aircraft Technology Engineering & Maintenance Awards (ATE&M Awards) will this year feature high profile industry professionals on a global panel of judges as well as the addition of a number of new categories. Encompassing airline heads of engineering, original equipment manufacturers and leasing companies, the judges will select the overall winners of each category, picking from a shortlist of nominations decided in an open voting process. Professionals from across the industry have already taken part in the first round of voting with thousands of entries received to determine the final shortlist for each category. After careful counting we have shortlisted in some cases over 8 companies recognising the really closely fought battle for the very best. Our judges have a tough job ahead selecting the overall winners with compelling nominations making the voting very close. Categories The ATE&M Awards includes three new categories this year. A line maintenance award has been added, as well as two special awards to recognise the lifetime achievement of a deserving individual and the company that has proved itself to be the most dedicated to people development and training. The awards will continue to recognise and honour the best airframe, engine and component MROs, as well as the best OEM in the aftermarket, the best IT software provider, and the best spare parts and logistics providers. The Editor’s Award will determine the best technology or innovation of the year. The full list of shortlisted companies by category: Best Airframe MRO Provider - THE AMERICAS AAR Corp.
