ATHENS TRACK GRAND PRIX 2013 1. General Organization The Hellenic Cycling Federation organises the Athens Track Grand Prix 2013 (UCI Cat.3 International Track Meeting for Elite and Junior Categories), on September 14th and 15th, 2013, under the following rules: 1.1. Competition Venue: Athens Olympic Velodrome, 250m. Indoor Track, wooden surface. Velodrome address: OAKA Complex, GR-15123 Maroussi, Athens – Greece. 1.2. Regulations: All events shall be conducted in accordance with the latest version of the UCI Regulations taking into consideration specific regulations mentioned below. 1.3. Penalties: UCI scale of penalties is the only one applicable shall apply to this Grand Prix. 2. Participation 2.1. Participation: The Athens Track Grand Prix 2013 is open to National teams, Track Teams, Regional Teams and Clubs. 2.2. Entries – Meetings 3.1. Entries: Entries including names of riders, substitutes, accompanying members shall reach organiser’s head office, shall be submitted by on Entry Forms provided by the Organiser on Friday 30th of August, 2013 at the latest to the fax : 0030 210 6859739 or to the following e-mail: [email protected]. Entrants for all the events shall hold UCI licences issued by a Federation affiliated to UCI. 3.2. Race Secretary: The race secretary will be open on Friday 13 September from 14:00 – 19:00 at Hellenic Cycling Federation office, Athens Olympic Velodrome Sp.Loui Ave. GR-15123 Maroussi – Athens, Greece. Tel. +30 210 6859788. 3.3. Licences and starters verification - Distribution of race numbers. Team managers must verify the riders to participate in each discipline, Friday 13 September from 15:00 – 19:00, at the race secretariat. Team managers must present riders’ licence and passports (for juniors). 3.4. Team Managers meeting. The Team Managers meeting will be held on Friday 13 September at 20:00 in Olympic Velodrome meeting room. It must be attended by all officials and Team Managers. 3.5. Commissaires Panel. President of the Panel will me mr Vladimiros PETSAS, appointed by the national Federation. The members of the Commissaires Panel shall be appointed by the organising federation. 4. Awards – Prices 4.1. Awards. The 3 winners (individual or team) in each event shall receive from the organiser, respectively, a gold medal (1st place), a silver medal (2nd place) and a bronze medal (3rd place). 4.2. Prizes. For Elite Men and Women and Junior Men and Women events, prizes shall be distributed to the winners as following: - Individual Events: 1st winner: 80€, 2nd winner: 50€, 3rd winner 30€ - Team Sprint: 1st team - each rider: 40€, 2nd team – each rider: 20€, 3rd team – each rider: 10€ 4.3.
