ATIC 2015: FROM OGBOMOSHO TO NSUKKA - LETS GO UP TO HIGHER GROUNDS! I bring all our students precious love greetings in the name of our LORD and Master, Jesus Christ. Also, I say to you, Happy New Year in Jesus. Do hope you had a good Christmas season? Do hope you are doing well in schoo as welll. Thank God it is another ATIC year in SCM Nigeria. I am excited for another great meeting. Ogbomosho was one great leap up the ladder of purpose that we cannot forget so easily. The Holy Ghost came mightily to help us in that meeting. It was a great time of His visitation with repentance, restoration and refreshing. We must not forget the historic significance of the Ogbomosho meeting. It was there for the very first time in the history of our 73 old Movement then that a conference of that kind took place in a hall of meeting built by members of our Movement. We salute the ingenuity, the enterprise and uncommon dexterity of our LAUTECH brethren. God will bless them. They have shown us what to do in all other places of our campus meetings. They bear the testimony that nothing is impossible to the persons that say We CAN. The secret behind the possibilities in what the tower builders at Shinar had despite the selfishness of their enterprise was their We Can mindset. There is a WAY wherever there is a WILL. The Ogbomosho SCM hall of meeting where ATIC 2013 too place became the forerunner to SCM Nigeria building and having such buildings with the matter of holding her conference at same center. In August 2014 at the garden city of Port Harcourt, the reality came when for the first time we had a national conference at our own conference center - the John R. Mott conference center (JRMCC). We thank God who used our willing and available brethren to make a dream come through. No matter what cynics think, God is at work in SCM. With God on our side, we shall for sure gloriously and gallantly finish our course in SCM Nigeria. I want you to get excited about Nsukka 2015. God has spoken of the great things He is going to do at that meeting. It is not too early to start preparing for the conference. Do not listen to any lie that something terrible is going to happen in Nigeria this year. From the time the false prophecy came that Nigeria will break up in 2015, I started proclaiming it in all my write-ups that Nigeria is not breaking up anything. When we gathered at our national prayer conference last December at Port Harcourt, the assurance came again that there will be no break up. Few days ago, the American ambassador to Nigeria spoke it out that Nigeria will not break up. Mind you it was from same America that same experts so versed in the dynamics of state failures and breakups made the famous break up predictions. Nigeria is a divine project too difficult for men who only see in the physical to understand. That is why their expert predictions are falling. When God rises to push forward his program and purpose not even the oracular counsels of Ahithophel can prevail. So, please go ahead with your preparations for the conference. Mobilize fellow students in your campus. May I inform you through the Holy Spirit that God is visiting our campus places with another revival - the greatest ever. SCM Nigeria must be in the lead for this. How can that be? By God finding and raising His people of Issachar among our SCM students (1Chron.12:32). A lot of strange fire noise all over our campus places, but it will only take Christian students with the discerning spirit of the children of Issachar to stand out to make the difference. What was the uniqueness of the children of Issachar - they had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do. The times we are in are very unique times. Men and women who lack understanding of the times get themselves busy in matters that profit them nothing both for time and eternity. I remember when one of our national leaders, Prof. (Mrs) Patience Isenmila met us at our national exco and staff retreat in Sept last year to speak to us from this 1Chron. 12:32 scripture. Please lets give this conference a vibrant publicity. We are trusting God that other students of our WSCF global family from places like Ghana, Liberia, Togo, Ivory Coast etc will be joining us. What are your expectations? Lets talk the ATIC 2015. Let us organize pre conference lectures on the conference. Lets do musical events to inspire other students to come. Lets write wonderful articles on student issues to celebrate ATIC. Lets do great drama events towards a great conference. I hear the sound of the abundance of rain concerning the conference. The national secretariat is solidly behind the ATIC as she leans on Gods grace to have the best of conferences ever. I have stated talking with the speakers the national exco of ATIC has prayerfully chosen to minister at the conference. With good preparation, a good performance is assured. Lets get up to work NOW!
