Va ofer si cateva informatii despre proiect : Action 1.1 Youth Exchanges Project Name: Volunteer for success Venue: Zwierzyn, Poland ? Podkarpackie region Dates: 21-29.10.2013 ( 8 nights) Note: You can come to Poland maximum 2 days before the arrival day of the project or you can leave Poland 2 days after the departure date of the project. Partner Countries : Lithuania, Hungary, Romania, Poland Number of participants : 9 participants per country ( including leader ) Project Theme: Youth Exchange ?Volunteer for success? will be a tremendous opportunity to dwelve into the world of volunteer services. Our project will take place in Zwierzyn Podkarpackie region and is scheduled to last from 21 to 29.10.2013. The target group of our project is youth aged 15- 18 with participants from the following countries: Hungary, Latvia, Romania, Poland. Considering current economic hurdles, translating into very high youth unemployment, we have unanimously decided, that youth exchange focused on volunteer services is relevant and will meet the needs of its participants. The primary goal of our project is a promotion of volunteer services as a great tool to increase one?s skills, gain experience, network as well as learn new cultures and meet interesting people, and thus counteract chronic youth unemployment. All the actions have been planned together, what should translate into full and active participation. We will resort to the methods of non-formal education, thus assuring full and active participation. In order to grasp the full attention of all participants we have planned many innovative actions including: ?Let?s make the dreams come true?, ?From the bottom of our hearts?, ?Changing perspective? or ?Making it happen? to name just a few. Our actions should lead to the significant increase in the participation of youth in the volunteer services. Moreover we are hoping, that as a result of the workshop ?From ideas to volunteer services? will come up with ideas to bridge the gap between companies and people willing to provide volunteer services. One of the tangible results of our youth exchange will be a guide containing knowledge gained during our project, which will be disseminated to the partner organizations. We are also planning to launch a website e-volunteer.pl, which will contain information regarding volunteer services in our country as well as key links to other web resources. Our partners will be encouraged to plan similar actions. Participants should be able to communicate in English. Each partner is supposed to take part in all Project activities actively. You can prepare Power Point Presentation or bring some cultural music or show some folk dances or bring something to taste .
