ATTENTION- In reference to my posts that have been made concerning progress reports, PLEASE understand that my point is not I know my child is smart and there is NO way she should be making 2s, because if she has earned a 2 then I need to get her help. My point is, parents are provided with a progress report so that if needed, the necessary measures can be taken if your child is in need of help. If a progress report has been sent home with a grade given based on what the administrators have told teachers to give, its not a progress report. How can I as a concerned parent make sure my child is excelling or lacking if you are not giving me the truth. Then at the end of the year if she isnt where she is expected to be academically now she is in danger of repeating a grade. Thats why me an JESUS took a trip to the school and the school board this morning and will be meeting with the head of elementary education soon!
