ATTENTION.....A couple of you might want to take notice of this post: After years of being in this business, Im seldom surprised by the lengths competitors will go to to keep clients from walking in our door. Today however, I am a bit taken back as its been quite a while since rumors have spilled from thoughtless minds. I am especially disappointed when grown ups act like children, and I am baffled by the lack of sight. Do you not see what you make yourself out to be? Woman and men have the ability to empower one another, to help each other grow in business and as human beings while still helping themselves. Perhaps some in the industry see the consumer as far less sophisticated, even ignorant. In this case they are sadly mistaken. Tattooing is far more main stream then years ago and those getting tattooed do their research. Actually by calling attention to themselves and us, the consumer will check the portfolios and laugh as they shake their head in awe at the obvious attempt of desperation. In this day and age the industry has in a sense grown up the artists and the art form have come a long way, and Ive grown as an artist but more importantly as a person and a business woman. I see the change, as well as the need to be innovative offering those who have long since paid their dues a way to work in their comfort zone on their time frame and be recognized for their many years of experience. And make no doubt about it, experience holds weight, as does reputation. Thus the new Art Angels has formed as a co-op of happy artists who will work with you. We know that our clients will be viewing the portfolios, not much more needs to be said on that. So in conclusion, it is foolish to cry and spout lies to your friends and patrons, To quote Pantera, those same friends tell me your every word. But let me make this clear...at the moment, I enjoy not stooping to such levels of immaturity and am finding this somewhat comical considering the source. I have a (long) standing reputation as a kind human being...but make NO mistake...Everyone has a breaking point. My suggestion: CHOOSE YOUR BATTLES WISELY;)
