ATTENTION ACTORS!!! When people Claim to be a SAG Project to get you to audition for a project, CALL SAG!!! Several weeks ago, I attended a workshop with SAG and Ruth Paul and asked the question about deferred projects and the answer was ONLY Student Films and Shorts (LESS THAN 35 MINUTES) that were being used for Film Festival circuit could only be SAG deferred. ANYTHING else that is broadcast or direct to DVD CAN NOT be SAG deferred, SO DONT BE SCAMMED!!! If the SAG project is NOT a Student Film or Short, less than 35 minutes, and it is SAG, YOU MUST BE PAID, NOT DEFERRED!!! ALL paperwork MUST be filled out prior to shooting!!! NO TV SHOW or FEATURE FILM that is SAG can be deferred!!! ALSO, there is no such thing as a SAG Director or SAG Producer. Directors and Producers have their own Guilds, so dont be scammed there either!!! I
