ATTENTION ALL HORSE OWNERS, RIDERS, LOVERS etc, etc. next Friday 28th November We are holding a clinic evening talk at the Otaki Golf Clubroom. The bar WILL be open. The main Speaker will be DR Ronan Costello, Senior Equine Clinician from Marks and Ewen Equine hospital in Matamata. Ronan once worked with us here in Otaki, but has worked in Matamata fir last 7 years. Apart from his role as equine vet to many of the top racehorse trainers and sport horse competitors, Ronan is also a qualified Equine Veterinary Chiropractor. He is going to talk to us about treatment of sport horse injuries and treatments, and better still how we can reduce their causes. He will be discussing how he uses veterinary chiropractic techniques in his overall assessment and treatments of injuries. Including prevention. DR Costello will also be available next Friday during the day, at Jane and my place, for examination and treatments. Bookings will be made on first come first served basis through the Clinic on 06 3646942. We are looking at having Ronan come to the area on a more frequent basis If demand is there. There will also be presentations on the use of foot balance X-rays, to help you and your farrier keep those feet in the best possible Shape. This in itself is such an important area of injury and lameness prevention. Should be an interesting evening. Wed love to see as many of you there as possible.
