ATTENTION ALL NSCS MEMBERS! SEEKING AN EDGE TO YOUR RESUME TO SEPARATE YOU FROM OTHERS IN YOUR CARRER OR GRADUATE SCHOOL PURSUITS? WELL THEN LISTEN UP HERE FOR AN OPPORTUNITY THAT WILL BE MONUMENTAL TO YOUR LEADERSHIP SKILLS. This year KSU has begun an alliance with Palmer Middle School, 5 minutes from campus on North Booth Road, and from there we are trying to start a mentor program. This program will be available to all students at Palmer Middle School, grades 6-8, who are on academic probation, and may need one on one interaction to pinpoint there problems in school. Part of being in NSCS is promoting Collegiate Excellence, and what better way than to become a mentor, that will only require thirty minutes, yes 30 MINUTES, outside of your day, one day a week! We really want to push this program but cannot do so without your help; helps us help these kids and send your info to our VP of the Pace Program, Danielle Ferguson at [email protected] for info about training day. We want this program to be up and running within the next 9 weeks so be timely and prompt with sending in your emails PLEASE!
