ATTENTION ALL TIMKEN GRADS: It is with great sadness I post that Mr. Schwab passed away on Monday Sept.15th, the following is his Obituary copied from the Repository for anyone who wants to pay their respects. He was a wonderful man & we were all truly blessed to know him, may each one of us make an impact on those around us like he did! To honor him, please share a story you remember about him, thanks! John H. Schwab beloved son of the late Mary Catherine (Zumbrunnen) Schwab and Donald Eugene Schwab, born in Dennison, Ohio on July 12, 1950 went home to meet his Lord and Savior on Sept. 15, 2014. John was a beloved husband, devoted father, gentle grandfather and treasured friend. He worked as an educator and administrator for Timkn Senior High School for over 30 years where he is fondly remembered for his care and respect for both students and staff alike. His wife, Sue was the love of his life and his son, David (Cassandra) and daughter, Heather (Selva), the pride of his heart; his four beautiful granddaughters, Paige, Julie, Madison and Vanessa, were the stride in his step; and his faithful friend, Jesus, the joy in his songs (especially the Ohio state Marching Band fight song); his friends were the siblings he was blessed to receive as he was an only child; his extended family and all who knew him. Calling hours will be Thursday (tonight) from 6-8 p.m. in the Schneeberger Funeral Home. Services in the chapel of Sunset Hills Burial Park will be Friday 10:30 a.m. followed by a celebration of Johns life at 11 a.m. at Church of the Lakes United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to NAMI of Stark County, 121 Cleveland Ave. S.W. Canton, OH 44702
