*************************ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS********************************* We wanted to let you all know that this group has been making some very loving friends in the Face Book world. I guess telling the truth and refusing to compromise Gods Word is an offense to many, including so-called Christians. Someone brought it to my attention that there was a post made by a very slanderous person in the group Raptured, who obviously felt the need to lie about us. Everything she said is absolutely false! She even so lovingly called us a cult! This is that post... ******************************************************************************************** WARNING!! THE GROUP CALLED THE RAPTURED IS FROM A CULT CALLED RIGHT DIVIDERS!! They dont belive the Whole word of God is for them...Only mid acts to Philemon....they dont believe God speaks to His people...and this is 2 of the FALSE Doctrine they have! 2 Peter 2:1 Destructive Doctrines 2 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. ******************************************************************************************** Now, to address these grievances. First of all, we have nothing to do with any cult called right dividers. This accusation most likely comes from one of us saying how important it is to rightly divide the Word of God, as 2 Timothy 2:15 tells us to do. Secondly, we absolutely believe the entire Word of God is FOR us. However, we do not believe the entire Word of God is TO us contextually. For example, the prophets, like Isaiah, Jeremiah, etc., were written TO Israel and Judah about their upcoming captivity to Assyria and Babylon respectively, they were not written TO the church. The parts of the Bible that were written directly TO the body of Christ were Pauls epistles, Romans to Philemon. Paul tells us that he is the Apostle to the Gentiles. Again, the ENTIRE Bible is FOR us and for our learning but it is not all TO us contextually. It is very important to know who the intended audience is to get a proper understanding of the portion of scripture. Another example, is the Olivet Discourse of Matthew 24 and 25. Jesus was NOT speaking TO the church or about the church, He was speaking to the Jews about Israel. If this distinction is not made, you get very erroneous understandings concerning end time prophecies. The parable of the 10 virgins is a prime example of this. If Jesus is talking TO the church, then you can believe in a partial Rapture, ie., that only the super Christians get raptured, OR, that one can lose their salvation, which is absolutely incorrect. So, you see, the importance of knowing the intended audience of the one speaking. ***WE DO NOT HOLD THE BELIEF THAT THE ONLY PART OF THE BIBLE WE LISTEN TO IS PAULS WRITINGS!*** ALL of the Bible is FOR the body of Christ. 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2 Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. Thirdly, we do believe God speaks to us BUT, not through prophets, words of knowledge, dreams or visions (although we do believe believers can have Biblical dreams but they are not meant to be used to tell the future), but through the completed Word of God. Hebrews 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hebrews 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the world.
