ATTENTION ARIZONIANS Repost by Alex Soto who is part of the OOdham who are working to stop construction of the proposed loop 202 extension that would blast through Moadak Doag (south mountain). Moadak is one of the mountains that is recognized in our creation stories and songs. This is not just a GRIC issues, its a HUMA issue. If you live in the phx valley- rather your native or not- this effects the health of all people in the area, plants, animals, and of course the mountain itself. The well being of the future generations are not being considered here. It should be our duty to take care of our ecosystem for its own health as well our future generations; not destroy it the for profit of a small group of people. I myself will putting more effort to take part in this resistance. Thanks to Alex and Linda Paloma Allen for leading these efforts.
