ATTENTION, ATTENTION, ATTENTION!!! For those of you who are related to the Culpepper family of Harris County GA, the 2014 (1st edition) of the Culpeppers Family Tree is now complete. This tree began with Joel Culpepper (White) who owned slaves in Harris County, Georgia, District 703. Regarding the ancestral lineage prior to 1940 on both the male and female sides, there are five (5) main families whose lineage dates back as far as the Slave Owners. As of today, this tree is a collection that possesses approximately 800 relatives and family members, both by blood and by marriage whose progeny dates back as for as the earily 1800s and yet include descendants of the Harris County Culpepper family of today 2014, they are: 1. Peter Culpepper, Sr. Family, b. abt. 1820, GA-USA 2. Ned/Wesley Maddox Family, b. 1810 & 1842, GA-USA 3. George Williams Family, b. 1847, GA-USA 4. Dallis/Clasy McGee Family, b. 1867, GA-USA and 5. Walton Bachelor Family, b. abt. 1810, GA-USA In this tree one may find a complete history of the Culpepper family, the establishment of their religious faith and how they were connected with other families of Harris County both by blood and marriage, including the blood ties with (our) the McGee Family. The claim is that there are 2 different sets of Culpeppers of Harris County whose ancestors are not related to each other, or to the McGee family, but I have found in both sects that there are blood ties in ceratin aspects of their ancestral lineage connecting to our family.
