ATTENTION, ATTENTION. WE HAVE A BIRTHDAY. My dad has taught me a lot of things. Hes one of the best men I know, and I truly believe that. He is sweet and kind, generous, driven, curious, incredibly creative and intelligent, so very humble, funny, enthusiastic and energetic, positive in times of trouble, a steadfast pray-er, a faithful Christian despite a hard walk, and so many more things. Although hes not perfect as he would want you to know, he IS magnificent. Im having a hard time falling asleep tonight because all I want to do is leave my far away TN home to see my beautiful NC home. All I want is to be home on my daddys birthday. I would hug him many times, tell him how important he is to me and the whole family, give him a handmade gift because he tells me those are the best, talk to him for hours about deep subjects and silly/random thoughts, and just enjoy his presence. Dad, I couldnt regret one minute being your daughter. You deserve so much more than you get credit for--more and more I realize this. You are a wonderful man.
