ATTENTION BANDS AND ARTISTS - At the end of this month, I will no longer be accepting new bands to record at Dunton Records for a long time. We are now in our final step as a record company, artist development. I need to spend my time building the local scene and less time recording. I havent gone to a local show in months, because Im always in the studio. I will be going out and spending my time helping promote the bands that have already put their trust in me, instead of looking for new ones to put their trust in me. As for the bands I agreed to record, you are on the roster and I will be of my word. I have more then enough bands to record though, so I am very hesitant to accept new projects, which I am open to under special circumstances,(read the bottom if you where hoping to record with Dunton). I will be active in the community from now on. My goal is to train an engineer to take my place(which is already in the works) as I take on the grueling job of tour manager, show promoter, and local distributer(Gorilla Marketer), which no one seems to be doing appropriately in Los Angeles or is not open to jumping on with Dunton. Dunton will live by our honor code, with no pay to play shows and paying out the over achieving artists. If you have been thinking of recording with us, but have been saving up, or felt it wasnt the time, speak now or forever hold your peace. Messages will be accepted via email at 3ftmusic@gmail. I will only book outside bands to record between now and June of next year. I am already booked until Feb, so spots are limited. Stay Smooth, Ken Gonzalez 3ftmusic@gmail PS, I am thinking of coming back to record about a year from January and a reminder, bands that are currently with Dunton will be able to record with us exclusively until I decide to come back and accept new projects. P.S.S. if you have any questions message us and we will answer them all.
