ATTENTION: BATON TWIRLING COACHES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN Coach - TopicsExpress

ATTENTION: BATON TWIRLING COACHES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN Coach Karen Brooks is the Mother of a 4-year old Son - and experiencing issues teaching baton twirling - and devoting enough time to her child care - and needs advice/direction in balancing her home life with her baton twirling. Can you offer her any advice---below---or by messaging her direct from her Facebook Academy page? Karen writes: I am a member of the Twirling Coaches page and I am working on helping baton twirling get established in the Tallahassee, Florida, area. Feel free to Like our page: https://facebook/ApexTwirlingAcademy I have a question for Veteran Coaches: I have coached private lessons for about 20 years (since I was 15), but now I am adding Teams to my studio. I also have a 4-year old son. Im curious as to how Coaches are able to balance family life and twirling life. Thankfully, I have a sweet husband who knew what he was getting into. We dated as I was a Feature Twirler with my high school band (he played in the band, too), and we were both in the FSU Marching Chiefs together. Just wondering if there were any tips out there for balancing little kids and twirling. I ask because there are days when I feel like a terrible mommy because I have coached 8 hours that day. Thanks in advance. Karen Brooks, Apex Twirling Academy.
