ATTENTION BEDFORD RESISTANCE RIDERS - We have an update from the trenches. Its not good people, the enemy has captured so much of our route that we must abandon it to survive. But fear not! Your tireless ride leaders spent this weekend launching bold and daring scouting missions deep into enemy territory. And we do, have a plan of attack for this weeks ride. We will resort to guerrilla cycling to prove that we can adapt and overcome any amount of gravel they throw at us. To throw the enemy off, we are moving the our starting point to the old Temperance Elementary (now closed). From the old starting point, you need only go north on Jackman Rd. and take the first right on Temperance. The Elementary will be on the right hand side, not far from the corner. John Kirtos has bravely volunteered to act as a decoy, and sit at the old starting point before the ride in hopes of hiding our true objectives from the enemy until the last possible moment. He will also be directing any lost resistance riders to the new starting point, should enemy have intercepted this message before it reaches them. I dare not share any more details about the route at this time for fear of tipping our hands to our foe. Route cards will be available at the start. Remember that if you happened to be captured, you must eat your route card. ;) WE NEED YOUR HELP! Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to show up and support the Bedford Resistance. We need to strike hard and with large numbers. Should you prove brave enough to ride for the resistance, you will be rewarded with ICE CREAM at the finish of the ride. Its time, we need your support, come out and ride. Ride for freedom, ride for fitness, and most certainly... RIDE FOR ICE CREAM!!! VIVA LA RESISTANCE!
