ATTENTION BRIGADE MEMBERS Is your Brigade a REGISTERED CHARITY???? If YES, there is a requirement to submit your Charities 2013 ANNUAL INFORMATION STATEMENT before 31 MARCH 2014. Please pass this information on to your Brigade Executive. Additional information is included below: ______________________________________________________ Dear charity You are receiving this email because your organisation is a charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). I am writing to remind you to submit your charitys 2013 Annual Information Statement before the due date of 31 March 2014. Our records indicate that your charity has started its 2013 Annual Information Statement, but has not yet submitted it. Much of the information you provide via the statement will be used to populate your ACNC Register listing. In our first 12 months of operation, over 200,000 unique visitors viewed the ACNC Register, showing that it is indeed a useful and important tool for members of the public and donors. If you need information to help your charity meet its obligations, please visit our website, acnc.gov.au.
