ATTENTION: BUSINESS STUDIES GRADUATES JOB OPPORTUNITY: Client Liaison Officer Remuneration: R10000 - R12000 per month Cost to company Benefits: MA, Prov fund cont Location: Cape Town, CBD Education level: Matric Job level: Mid Job policy: Employment Equity position Type: Permanent Reference: #NJ Job description EE/AA position Requirements: -Matric - essential -At least two to three years corporate reception experience -Very well spoken in English and Afrikaans -Computer literacy in Excel, MS Word -Must be a South African national -Self motivated and proactive -Able to work well under pressure -Strong administration skills and ability to run the front of house -Smart and well presented -Maintain a high standard of customer service Main responsibilities: -Answering the switchboard timorously -Ensure prompt, professional, efficient and courteous reception of both internal and external clients -Demonstrate high energy levels and provide consistently high levels of client service, in accordance with the organisations standards -Ensure that there is clear communication of the arrival of external clients and that internal clients are informed promptly -Remind relevant internal clients about waiting clients and communicate to the client if there is a delay -Seat clients in the reception area or in relevant meeting room/s and offer client(s) refreshments while they are waiting -Attend to requests from clients speedily (such as faxing, photocopying, etc.) and provide information clearly and courteously -Ensure that refreshments are delivered timeously to meeting rooms, following up with catering staff if necessary -Keep abreast and conversant of all meeting rooms and technology functionality -Proficiently manage all meeting rooms – troubleshoot and provide solutions to problems as and when they arise (double bookings, etc.) -Keep Frontline area and meeting rooms neat and tidy at all times -Oversee the cleanliness of the restrooms. Ensure that all required supplies are in place -Ensure supply of marketing brochures and stationery supplies to meeting rooms -Establish and maintain relationship with clients -Perform switchboard duties and responsibilities when required -Manage the daily cost allocation of telephone calls to correct individuals and or matter numbers -Handle deliveries and collections as appropriate -Provide support during events as required -Perform other related duties as reasonable requested.
