ATTENTION: CYSTIC FIBROSIS WILL BE MENTIONED IN THE STATE OF THE UNION ADDRESS TONIGHT! Tonight, Bill Elder, Jr., a 27 year old man with cystic fibrosis, will sit with First Lady Michelle Obama at the State of the Union Address. Bill benefits greatly from Kalydeco, and although we have not yet confirmed the details of the Presidents speech, we believe it will use Bills experience to highlight the promise of personalized, precision medicine. Receiving mention in a State of the Union address is a rare honor. It presents a wonderful opportunity to showcase the many successes weve seen in the CF community, while raising awareness and helping our efforts to fight this disease.
