ATTENTION: DENR SECRETARY RAMON PAJE Caution to DENR Natl, Regl, Provl and Municipal Envt Offices: in your zealous efforts to implement the National Greening Program, you just dont trample on the rights of existing stewards (whether they have papers or not) who have been toiling on the land for the last 40 years or so. Before awarding any land grants/rights to anyone in any form, have you any survey or inspection conducted to ascertain the actual status of that land? Sa panahong ito, there is hardly any vacant land in the forest region of Jones, Echague and San Agustin - all of Southern Isabela. They have been cultivated and have become sources of livelihood. If you continue this practice, then you are up for expulsion from these areas by the people themselves. You should recognize actual residents and not the dubious foundation like Felix Manalo Foundation. You are actually causing conflagration. This is an invitation to peasant uprising. Any greening program will be for naught. Hindi kayo magtatagumpay. Magsasayang kayo ng pera ng bayan. Please reconsider all permits given - revoke them. Respect the people, especially the tiller-farmers - who have been residing and tilling those lands for DECADES! ------------- From the wall of Wilen Galano: Aug.14,2014-- DENR officers, Representatives of the Iglesia ni Cristo through the Felix Manalo Foundation dialogue with the People of Brgy. Madadamian, Echague, Isabela regarding the 500 hectares of lands awarded by the DENR to the said foundation through a Memorandum of Agreement without any public consultation conducted prior to its enforcement. Sa dialogue na ito, nanindigan ang mamamayan ng Madadamian. Iisa lang ang demmand ng masa, revoke the MOA, oust NGP-FYM project @ Madadamian! Ipatupad ang tunay na reporma sa lupa!
