ATTENTION: Dont give your PIN to anyone! Your PIN is used to sign legally binding documents electronically. Your PIN has the same legal status as a written signature. If a person or a company asks for your PIN, even if theyre offering to help you, dont do it. Giving your PIN away gives the person or company whom you give it to the authority to take any action they choose with your federal student loans. You are still legally responsible for the loans. So please, dont share your PIN.
