ATTENTION EL PASO COUNTY ASSEMBLY DELEGATES—AND OTHER INVOLVED VOTERS!! I currently have uploaded 7 videos from yesterday’s packed-house forum put on by the Cheyenne Mountain Republican Forum at the Headquarters of the El Paso County GOP. These will get you started for those who want to see what the latest words are from a number of candidates for whom delegates will be voting on this Saturday. This morning I’m going to take a break from video editing to go to the El Paso County Commissioners Meeting at 9. Darryl Glenn will be sponsoring a resolution for the County Commissioners to recognize the 60th Anniversary of the United States Air Force Academy. I was a bit young when President Eisenhower signed the paperwork, but I arrived at the permanent site 55 years ago come June 26th. So I’ll probably get to more videos this afternoon before going to another event tonight to take more video. This morning I have posted the videos for El Paso County Sheriff and El Paso County Treasurer. Good opportunity to hear all 3 GOP candidates in each race pretty much at the top of their game. I have Kit Roupe (HD17) and Paul Lundeen (HD19) and Steve Schleiker (El Paso County Assessor) who are all unopposed on the GOP side. Kit Roupe is trying to unseat an incumbent Democrat in HD 17, and that is a seat WE ALL NEED TO WORK TO WIN IN NOVEMBER!!! Control of the state house may possible depend on Kit winning! On the Statewide races I do have Cynthia Coffman up. (I started yesterday with individual races because that was easier to get the opening and closing slides designed.) I still need to edit Wayne Williams for Secretary of State and a great panel of candidates for Colorado Governor. (Bob Beauprez, Scott Gessler, Greg Brophy, Mike Kopp, and Roni Bell Sylvester) This afternoon I’ll try to get to the candidates for El Paso County Clerk and Recorder (Chuck Broerman and Patrick Carter) and HD 20 (Miles Dewhirst, Terri Carver, and Mark Braunlich). So you can see that was quite a gathering of candidates. Also you can see that the 7th video (which I put together 1st yesterday afternoon) is a motivational, VOTE REPUBLICAN presentation by Jay Ledbetter, a candidate for HD 37 in Arapahoe County. Apparently Mother Mary said Be Here! And Jay complied. I’m glad he did. His was one of the very good presentations among many good presentations.
