ATTENTION EVERYONE!!! We just got a phone call from the IRS claiming that we owed them almost $5,000, and it needed to be paid in 2 hours or an arrest warrant would be issued, and it would be a year in jail! Once I calmed down and remembered seeing something about this on facebook or in the Pocono Record, I started to ask questions. Like, what is the actual amount, again I was told Almost $5,000, I asked again and he told me so fast that I couldnt understand, and again I got I said it was almost $5,000, really cocky. I asked for a phone number that I could call to verify this and he hung up on me. REALLY? First of all...the IRS would NOT call you! Second...they have all the information the already need, they wouldnt need you to give it to them....Third....the IRS does not demand immediate payment, they have a process to follow. FOURTH: They would not use terms like almost $5,000, they know the amount in dispute. Now I have to get my heart to stop racing, calm everyone down and wait for the Police Department to call me back. YES, Asshole, Im reporting your ass! Hope they find you and throw YOU in jail for a year or two! Please if you get this type of phone call, please do NOT send any money!!
