Started fly fishing/tying back in the 80s for bass. Gave it up due to work and 4 children. About 10 years ago I started flyfishing/tying again. Currently I am a board member for the Lower Mountain Fork River Foundation. The LMF is the southernmost reproducing trout fishery in the USA. It is a tailwater fishery located just north of Broken Bow Oklahoma. Since Ive been able to fly fish again, we have traveled over most of the western USA and Canada. Fished many many rivers and streams. This winter we are going east. Starting with the Tellico and Clinch in Tennesse and going from there. Love for trout, bass, pike and muskie. Have spent this year tying mostly for trout. I am actively envolved in our chapter of Project Healing Waters. Love to take Veterans flyfishing using the flies that I tie, watching them catch. It is very humbling and satisfying.
