ATTENTION: MR. MIKE OMERI, COORDINATOR, NATIONAL INFORMATION CENTER, ABUJA. Your statement in support of the desperate effort by MARYLN OGAR, DSS to condemn to death, the #BringBackOurGirls campaign and the members is not only smearing but, infringing into the citizens right. When the SSS spokesperson maliciously asserted that they know all that is happening within the group, she did not stop at that, she went further to summarize that the group is a franchise, simply because she claimed that the group is not genuine and transparent. Nigerians may not be surprise to hear such campaign of calumny coming from the same person that championed similar campaign against the innocent youths killed in Apo in the guise of Boko Haram. Thank God that the Court recently vindicated Nigerians and the world by ruling against the SSS and also demanded payment of millions of Naira for damages. Such court ruling thereby rubbished all that was said on those citizens by Ogar. Ever since, her credibility is under contest! Amazingly, in your own statement, you went ahead to complement the lies put together by this woman. They have succeeded in creating difficulties for the security agencies, while fighting the Boko Haram, we also have them to contend with. Sir, like the reporter also summarized your claims, speaking in agreement with this, Coordinator of the Center, Mr. Mike Omeri said the group is also supplementing terrorism, you lack the confidence to tell Nigerians what precisely informed your statement rather than justifying the coordinated effort to fight against the campaign which the Government you are working for, finds it hard to appreciate the demands coming from the advocacy for political reasons. On this note, in my position as a law abiding citizen of this country who is a passionate member of the advocacy, I wish to reiterate to you and Nigerians that the #BringBackOurGirls is not in anyway related to whatsoever description coming from you and Ogar, meaning, BBOG campaign has nothing to do with Boko Haram or any other terrorist group or criminals. I have in different capacity participated in the activities of the group in and outside Abuja, I can testify anywhere in the world that there is nothing criminal or terror related to it. I hereby advise that you pls desist from such bad campaign, stop misinforming the government and the citizens. Nigerians are loosing confidence in the organizations you belongs to and also loosing confidence in the Government you are serving. It is a big shame if this same campaign that won the heart of global leaders and icons will be tag as a franchise of Boko Haram, invariably, you are also alleging that Obama and his wife, the young Malala who barely survived the terrorists attack, the world renown icons and the Millions of Mexican women including all the countries that are assisting the Government of the day in finding the missing Chibok Girls are all members of Boko Haram. You know very well that this is laughable in the same manner Nigerians laughed at the previous claims which also described the campaigners as members of a political party. HOWEVER, YOUR MOTIVE IS CLEAR, THERE IS A SAYING IF YOU WANT TO HANG A DOG, YOU GIVE IT A BAD NAME. MAY BE YOU WANT TO KILL US LIKE BOKO HARAM, THAT IS WHY YOU ARE TAGGING US AS BOKO HARAM FRANCHISE!
