ATTENTION PERSONS THAT HAVE NO SCENSE at all. As most everyone knows Beaumont reached a low of 26 degrees last night and this morning. I have always known that you should run your outdoor faucets at a trickle so they will not freeze. Also do not run water on the concrete because it will get icy. My patio is beautiful as I left the misty on and most of the patio is covered with ice formations. I went out to take photos and have them to show, but upon returning from the yard to the concrete patio, I stepped on a patch of ice. Wow that was a trip ! I my feet went backward and I my body went face forward with my arms extended and my phone never touched the concrete. One of the advantages of being overweight, I bounced several times before I realized what had happened. I dont think anything is broken, but I am going to be sore on Friday. My wife watched me fall through the back door blinds, but could not do anything other than tell me I knew better. So, now I know how it how it feels to fall when skating on ice. (wet ice) brrrrrrrr.
