ATTENTION PLEASE!! Title: Enviromental Mobility in Mediterranean Date: 02-10 September 2014 Venue: Mersin / TURKEY Organizer: Alternative Young Environmental Community of Mersin Participants: 8 people each country 7+1 leader (over 18-25) Totally 3 countries. Working Language: English Context of Project: We all share the same nature so we all have similar responsibilities. The main aim of this project is to gather a group of 24 young people from different parts of Europe, give them opportunity to invest a ‘Green Bridge’ between Turkey and Europe. Although we are different regarding culture, religious and civilizations but we have the same ‘world’ so the objective of this project is to unite youngsters’ power for a single goal that is ‘ ‘Saving the World together’. With this project we will learn about the sand blooms which grow at beaches of the Mediterranean that place important to the protection and promotion of biodiversity. During Project, we will protect the area of the sand blooms grow place with all participants. Generation of those sand blooms continue will be provide with ‘Bridge of Peace Heart’ among participants and participant’s cooperation, friendship, solidarity also will be continue. While implementing this project, we will make several workshops, cultural nights, outside activities which are based on non-formal education method, trips to the natural beauty of Mersin. Besides, each participant will acquire knowledge about global warming, awareness of the environment, and the methods to heal the World. We aim to display that how we can change the world if youngsters unite their power. The outcomes of this project will influence not only for local but also global sense when participant go to their country having with environmental awareness. In this regard, this project has a cross-national aspect. We assure that this Project will provide priceless experience to participants. Also they will witness real culture, food, tradition of Anatolia because Mersin is one of the unique places to witness all this elements with plenty of historical monuments and multi-rich traditions.
