ATTENTION!!! PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: It has come to my attention through an anonymous source that someone is possibly preying on our fans (ginger females specifically, but Im sure anyone could be a target if the conditions are right), so I am gonna take time to remind you ALL about personal safety. -If someone messages you out of the blue, & tries to keep constant contact with you, asking questions, trying to get to know you....PLEASE, be cautious! You never know who is on the other side of the internet, pretending to be your friend, pretending to care about you, lying their ass off to you, to gain access to (whatever they think you have to offer them). Please be careful what info you offer about yourself & others. -DONT be afraid to ask questions! They are spending a lot of time learning you, learn them back if you are going to open up! If they arent willing to answer the same questions, or are constantly redirecting the conversation, this should be a red flag! Why would you want to tell someone so much about yourself without any info about them in return? -SAVE your conversation history, so you can compare what they say today with what they said yesterday (or last wk/mo etc). If they are telling you something that contradicts what they have already said, thats a red flag! bring it up, if they arent lying they wont mind clarifying! -DONT dismiss your inner voice/intuition/whatever you want to call it, if u think there might be a red flag...Look in to it, there is nothing wrong with protecting yourself, dont let them convince you otherwise!!! -DEFINITELY talk mutual friends. If you have friends that know them, ask how they know them, how long/well do they know them, the answers may be closer than you think. (by no means does this mean ask total strangers about another total stranger, what good is that doing for you? because you dont know either of the well enough to know if they are being honest) & if someone gets upset that you would check up on them, that is a HUGE red flag!!!! -LEARN how to use fb lists & settings. You dont have to post every post to the public, or to all your friends. I rarely share personal info with strangers, only close friends can see my family photos/posts & be selective about whom you add to this list! I want to take a minute to say this also...I have met a lot of people on fb, a few I hope to have the honor of meeting one day, but for the most part, people lie. You MUST protect yourself! If you think someone is doing this to you, please block them, dont give them any more ammo/info & if need be, message me & I will block them from the page.
