The samples are foley recordings from in my bathtub and some rocks in my studio heavily granular processed with various tools. The process of my sound design is to just mangle sounds live and record the output, split it into digestable chunks in a sample library format so when i am writing music i can pull out a chunk and scan through it for samples to chop up and further process, because they are not in time with the current session, i find this yields very interesting and original sounds in terms of finding interesting swing and rhythms.
