ATTENTION!! The holidays are vastly approaching and as some of you may know, I love to give back anyway I can during the fall and winter seasons. Last year during this time, I volunteered at The Salvation Army collecting donations of clothes and food for families in need. My lovely sister and I even bought food for an entire household. This year I want to do a more personal deed. I would love it if my family and friends, if possible, could make a handmade no-sew fleece blanket to give out to the Fountain/Colorado Springs community. I know its a bit early in advanced notice, but I would love to have it all done before the chills and snow come. My goal is to have 100 blankets or more in which I have an orphanage and two homeless shelters in mind to provide to by Thanksgiving. This would mean the entire world to me if I had the help of loved ones. Knowing that were all giving back and loving our neighbors is a blessing only God will ever understand.
