ATTENTION!!! WANT TO GET A COVERUP??? Over the last 6 months we have noticed a huge increase in the number of people requesting cover-ups, fix-ups, reworks and finishing of existing tattoos. While we are happy to do this type of work (many shops/artists will refuse to work on existing tattoos), we need to make some things clear. Tattoo Nightmares/Bad Ink is not real life! They have thousands of people apply to have their tattoos covered on these shows and the ones they choose to do are chosen based on how well they can make it work. Even though they say its hard to cover, theyre actually quite simple. Also the after photos they show are taken possibly days later and are most likely prepped, even photo-shopped to remove any trace of whats underneath. The work that we do is our best advertising, most of our work comes from repeat business or by from friends/family of existing customers. In taking on your cover-up/fix-up we need to make sure that the finished product is still a good tattoo. This means that you need to be flexible with design/size/placement. And you need to accept that you already got a bad tattoo once, that maybe your ideas arent so great and you need to listen to our advice!
