ATTN: All Korean-Canadian High School Students! The Korean Canadian Scholarship Foundation’s Student Development Committee (KCSF-SDC) once again invites Korean Canadian high school students to our annual youth leadership camp, Konnect Camp, on the last weekend of March Break 2015 (March 21st - 22nd, 2015). Participants will learn, grow and have fun in our leadership development program. Prepared by a group of passionate post-secondary Korean Canadian students under the guidance of highly skilled professionals, Konnect Camp provides youth with a great opportunity to meet fellow Korean Canadian high school students, post-secondary students as well as young professionals, develop individual and group skills, build confidence and explore cultural identity in a safe and friendly environment. With the theme of “Know yourself + Know your resources = Maximize your potential,” Konnect Camp 2015 program is designed to provide a meaningful and enjoyable opportunity for high school students to step outside of their boundaries and build confidence while exploring how to utilize their talents to the fullest as Korean Canadian youth. Highlights of Konnect Camp 2015 includes: - Exciting interactive activities designed to promote discovery of self-confidence, self-awareness, self-acceptance and cultural identity - Tips about transitioning into post-secondary life provided by current post-secondary students - Fun recreational activities including an opportunity to show off your talents - Opportunities to meet and develop meaningful friendship with fellow Korean-Canadian high school students, current post-secondary students and young professional leaders of the Korean-Canadian community - 2 days 1 night overnight stay at the beautiful YMCA Geneva Park Leadership and Conference Centre with extraordinary natural surroundings Registration fee of $100 includes 3 meals prepared professionally by the YMCA Centre, snacks and transportation. Buses will be departing from Yonge/Finch, Toronto and Square One, Mississauga (tentative). Financial Assistance: KCSF-SDC wants to ensure that all youth have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
