ATTN FBA Families: From First Baptist Academy **IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT** FBA has been in the process of changing our school closing/delay policy. Due to the bad weather approaching our area tomorrow, we have decided to make these changes immediately. Please read the changes below carefully. Once this policy has been written, you will receive a copy for your records. Feel free to message me if you have any questions. Policy Changes: 2 Hour Delay - When Putnam County issues a 2 hour delay, FBA will open at 8:30 am. Children will attend early drop off until preschool classes start at 10:30 am. Preschool classes will meet from 10:30 am-11:45 am. Aftercare will remain open until 6:00 pm. School Closings - When Putnam County closes school for the day, FBA will be open from 8:30 am - 6:00 pm for CHILD CARE. Preschool teachers will not report and preschool classes WILL NOT be held. Children will be in the same groups they are in for aftercare in the afternoons. We will serve our normal morning and afternoon snacks and lunch. The aftercare fees will remain the same. We ask that you please use good judgment when traveling in poor weather conditions. The FBA director and board members do have the authority to cancel child care at FBA if a state of emergency is issued or if weather conditions pose a safety risk to our staff and students.
